Adams EXT

An enhanced take on the classic Adams, this pattern retains the proven effectiveness of the original while adding a more realistic profile. The extended body and splayed wings closely mimic a mayfly dun, offering a lifelike silhouette that sits naturally on the surface. A go-t0 fly when trout are feeding on mayflies and keying in on subtle details. Best time to fish: Spring through late Fall, especially during active mayfly hatches.

Presentation

Dry Fly Rig >

Often fished alone in a Dry Fly Rig or used as a highly visible lead fly in a Dry Dropper setup, making it easier to track smaller trailing patterns during a hatch.

Double Dry Dropper >

Commonly fished as the lead fly in a Double Dry setup, paired with a smaller, less visible dry fly as the dropper. Its high visibility makes it an excellent indicator, helping you track subtle takes on the trailing fly.

Dry Dropper Emerger >

This dry fly is often fished as the lead fly in a Dry Dropper Emerger rig, paired with a smaller, less visible emerger as the dropper. Its high visibility acts as a strike indicator while keeping the emerger suspended just below the surface - ideal for targeting trout feeding near the top of the water column.

Dry Dropper Nymph >

This highly visible dry fly serves as a strike indicator while allowing the nymph to hang higher in the water column - an ideal setup for targeting trout feeding just below the surface.
