Adult insects can often be found in spider webs, in trees and brush along the bank, or on the water’s surface near the shoreline. Insects flying from the water to nearby vegetation also make great candidates for identification. Need more help finding insects? Nymphs are often swept downstream as they migrate towards shallow water during their emergence phase.
