Emerger Rig

This rig can be fished with a single fly, a double-fly setup, or in a dry-dropper emerger combination. Choose a fly imitation that closely matches the size of the insect you've identified. To help your fly suspend higher in the surface film, consider applying floatant to either the tippet or the fly itself. Remember to mend your line regularly to ensure a natural drift. If fish are refusing your fly, try reducing your tippet size - this can help minimize drag and make your presentation more convincing.
